Vegan Cilantro Lime Black Bean Burgers

Vegan Cilantro Lime Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients (4 people):

  • 425 gm canned black beans (rinsed and drained) (±15 oz)
  • 75 gm breadcrumbs (±¾ cup)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 5 ml garlic powder (±1 tsp)
  • 4 sprigs cilantro
  • 5 ml salt (±1 tsp)
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • For serving:
  • Burger buns, cilantro leaves, sliced tomato, sliced red onion...

Preparation time: 10 min.

Cooking time: 20 min.

Difficulty: easy

Preparation:

  • Using the SuperSonic™ Chopper, place all ingredients, cover and pull cord until coarsely blended

  • Evenly divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties using the Hamburger Press. 

  • Heat oil in Black Series Fry Pan on medium heat. Add patties to fry pan and cook for 5-7 min. on each side.

  •  Serve patties in burger buns with desired toppings.
